This Isn't Consulting. It's Implementation.

Most consultants talk. We build. Here's how we actually fix contractor operations.

Establish Cadence

Scope, schedule, labor/subs, cost, and leadership controlled with a weekly cadence.

  • Structured leadership cadence: huddles, scoreboards, and course-corrects every week.
  • Field accountability that holds subs and crews to scope, safety, and schedule.
  • Financial clarity every Friday: WIP, draws, and burn-down to keep cash predictable.

Why Most Consulting Fails

You've probably been burned before. A consultant comes in, asks a bunch of questions, hands you a fancy report, and leaves. Six months later, nothing changed.

Here's why that happens:

  • No implementation support. Knowing what to do and actually doing it are completely different things.
  • Generic advice. "Improve your processes" isn't helpful when you're overwhelmed with callbacks.
  • No accountability. Once the check clears, you're on your own.
  • They've never run trucks. Theory from an MBA doesn't translate to 7am dispatch meetings.

We do it differently.

Our Method

The KPS Approach

Six principles that guide everything we do. If an engagement doesn't fit these, we don't take it.

Implementation Over Theory

We don't hand you a binder and disappear. We build systems WITH you, in your business, with your team. If it doesn't work in real life, it doesn't count.

Numbers Don't Lie

Every recommendation is backed by data. We track before, during, and after. You'll know exactly what changed and by how much. No fuzzy feelings—just results.

Your Team Has to Run It

We're not here to create dependency. Every system we build is designed for your team to own and operate. The goal is graduation, not a lifetime retainer.

Speed Matters

Contractors can't wait 6 months for results. We move fast—first wins in 30 days, systems running in 90. Momentum compounds.

Skin in the Game

We refund if profit doesn't improve. We only take clients where we see clear ROI potential. Our success is tied to your success.

Trade-Specific Expertise

Generic business advice doesn't work for contractors. We know dispatch boards, truck rolls, tech pay plans, and seasonal demand. We speak your language.

The Process

How We Work

  1. 01
    Discovery Call
20 minutes. We dig into your business, your numbers, your frustrations. No pitch—just an honest assessment of what's broken and what it would take to fix it.
  2. 02
    The Diagnostic
We go deep. On-site visit, data analysis, team interviews, process mapping. You get a full picture of where the profit is leaking and a prioritized fix list.
  3. 03
    90-Day Sprint
We build 2-3 major systems together. Dispatch, pricing, job costing, accountability—whatever moves the needle most. Weekly check-ins, hands-on implementation.
  4. 04
    Measure & Adjust
Track everything. What improved? What needs tweaking? We refine until the systems are running smooth and your team owns them completely.
  5. 05
    Graduation or Continuation
Once systems are running, you graduate. Or continue with Fractional COO support if you want ongoing strategic partnership. Your choice.

We're a Good Fit If...

  • You're doing $500K-$10M in revenue
  • You're willing to invest time in the process
  • You're open to changing how things are done
  • You want systems that outlast the engagement
  • You're ready to move fast and make decisions

We're NOT a Fit If...

  • You want someone to do it all for you
  • You're looking for a magic bullet or quick fix
  • You're not willing to share your numbers
  • Your team won't adopt new processes
  • You want to argue about every recommendation
