Find out what's actually broken — and what to fix first.

Before you spend money fixing things, you need to know what's actually broken, why, and what the priority order is. The Systems Audit is a focused diagnostic engagement. We map your operations, systems, and backend infrastructure, identify the friction points, and give you a clear, prioritized plan for what to fix first.

No implementation commitment required. This is a diagnostic — not a sales pitch for a bigger engagement. If we're the right team to fix what we find, great. If not, you still walk away with a clear picture of what needs attention.

A complete operational diagnostic.

  • Full operational workflow mapping — how work actually moves through your business
  • Systems inventory — every tool you use, how they're connected (or not), and where data gets lost
  • Bottleneck identification — the 3–5 specific friction points costing you the most time and money
  • Process gap analysis — where handoffs break, where accountability is unclear, where things fall through
  • Prioritized fix list — what to address first, second, third, based on impact and effort
  • Implementation recommendations — specific, practical next steps with estimated scope

This engagement is right for you if:

  • You know things are messy but you're not sure exactly what to fix first
  • You've been thinking about bringing in help but want a diagnosis before committing to a larger engagement
  • You're growing and need to understand whether your current systems and processes can support the next stage
  • You want an outside perspective from someone who's seen similar businesses

After the audit:

You get a clear deliverable — the audit findings and prioritized recommendations. From there, you decide what to do next. Some clients take the findings and implement internally. Others move into a Cleanup & Buildout project with us. Either way, you make that decision with real information, not guesswork.

Common questions

How long does a systems audit take? +

Most audits take 1–2 weeks from kickoff to final deliverable. That includes team interviews, workflow observation, systems review, and putting together the prioritized findings and recommendations. Larger or more complex operations may take slightly longer, but we’ll set expectations upfront.

What do we need to prepare? +

Nothing special. We’ll interview your team, observe your actual workflows, and review the tools you use. We handle the diagnostic work — all we need from you is access to your systems and availability for a few conversations. You don’t need to put together documentation or clean anything up beforehand.

How much does a systems audit cost? +

Pricing is scope-based, not hourly. We assess your situation on a discovery call, define the scope, and give you a fixed price before we start. You’ll know exactly what the investment is before you commit — no surprise invoices, no open-ended billing.

What if we want to implement the fixes ourselves? +

That’s completely fine. The audit deliverable is yours regardless of what you do next. It includes specific, actionable recommendations with enough detail for an internal team or another vendor to execute. Some clients implement themselves, some hire us for a Cleanup & Buildout — either way, the audit stands on its own.
